Abstract This paper presents a theory for the power transfer efficiency of printed circuit board coils to integrated coils, with focus on load-dependence low-power single-chip systems. The is verified electromagnetic simulations modelled 350 nm CMOS process which in turn are by measurements manufactured circuits. evaluated on-chip rectification 151 MHz signal transmitted spiral coil at 10 mm separation an coil. Such approach avoids influence off-chip parasitic elements such as bond wires, would reduce accuracy evaluation. It found that there lower limit load below reducing consumption circuits yield no increase voltage generated load.
